At Little Bell Childminding, we believe in nurturing children's natural curiosity and imagination. Our approach is inspired by the curiosity approach pedagogy, focusing on using real, authentic, and natural resources to ignite a love for learning. We are committed to reducing the use of plastic toys and incorporating eco-sustainable resources to create a nurturing environment for your child. Our setting heavily incorporates loose parts play activities to encourage problem-solving skills and imaginative play, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace.
My Journey
My name is Federica Barbato and I am a registered childminder working within a registered childminding agency. I am running a child-minding business known as “Little Bell Childminder” which is currently based in West Hunsbury within the West Northamptonshire area.
I have 5 years of experience as a nursery practitioner in various nurseries based in London where I have gained my NVQ level 2 in childcare. In 2020 after having my daughter, I have decided to work as a childminder providing a high quality, professional
childcare setting for the children attending my care.
I have experience in working with different age groups ranging from 6 months old to 5 years although I am currently accepting only children from 18 months onwards. My greatest experience has been the upbringing of my daughter that is 4 years old.
